The sleepy town of Itigbo Land in Awori Land of Ifo Local Government Ogun State practically came alive on Sunday 21 August 2022 as His Royal Majesty Oba Olabode Victor Taiwo Thomas-Fagbeyi Adeyombo2, the Onitigbo of Tigbo land Awori Kingdom celebrates his second-year coronation anniversary.

The over one-week event which kicked off with the night of praise on August 20th, 2022 climax with a lot of fun, glitz and paparazzi that have Asakasa fuji exponent, Alhaji Abass Akande Obesere on the stage who was at his best to the delight of important personalities, among whom is Funsho Infinity and the Buddies of State High School Alimosho, Ipaja road, Lagos where incidentally the kabiyesi had his post primary education

The celebration which also had many Royal fathers in attendance was held in an open field playing ground of Ajogbo Grammar School, Ajibode, Tigbo Olu.

Speaking with whispersonlinemagazine after the fruitful event, the Onitigbo Tigbo Land, Oba Olabode was full of praises for his chiefs and the entire citizen of Tigbo land

“I am very grateful to Almighty God for His mercy and for good weather throughout the days of the celebration. I also want to use this medium to thank the entire council of Chiefs and Baales of Tigbo Land for their sacrifice and time in making sure this event was crisis free and successful. I also thank entire people of this great community especially the women leaders, the women, youth leaders and the youth as a whole. The students too are not forgotten

And finally, I want to appreciate my secondary school mates, (The Buddies 88) whom we have been together for over thirty years for their support and their prayers. They have been so wonderful ever since when I ascend this throne, I can’t thank them enough.”

Recalled that, His Royal Majesty Oba Olabode Victor Taiwo Thomas-Fagbeyi Adeyombo2, the Onitigbo of Tigbo land Awori Kingdom was installed as the new Oba of Onitigbo of Tigbo land in 2020.
