The entire buddies of 1988 set of State High School under the leadership of Governor, James Omotayo Agbogun and his deputy Gabriel Segun Soyode has felicitates with the Onitigbo of Tigbo land Awori Kingdom, HRM Oba Olabode Thomas-Fagbeyi the Adetoyinbo 2 on his second-year coronation anniversary

Speaking through the media spoke person of the Buddies, Mr. Murphy Ajibade Alabi, the Buddies stated they were happy that one of their very own is now a ruler of a big community as big as Tigbo

“We are indeed grateful to Almighty God for this great day that we are all celebrating. It is not an irony that years back, over thirty years ago we all are playing together, moving together even aspiring together, but none of us could pin point that we will one day be celebrating one of our own as a Royal father. What a life.

On behalf of entire buddies both here in Nigeria or in diaspora, we are proudly celebrating and felicitating with the Onitigbo of Tigbo land Awori Kingdom, HRM Oba Olabode Thomas-Fagbeyi the Adetoyinbo 2

The buddies who stormed the venue of the event in high numbers were not short of fun from their kick off point in Iyana Ipaja Lagos with lots of banter and jokes that took the buddies back to their secondary school days

 

Funsho  Ademoye aka Infinity, Paul Itamoh, Gabriel Ogbum, Abass Haruna, the Mogaji of Badeyemi of Egbeda ,  Micheal Ojebiyi, Suraju Oniyitan, Gbenga Akerele, Ganiyu Nasir,Olaolu Odunukan,  Abel   Adewole, make sure the ladies led by Ebun Adebayo-Lucas, Alhaja Quoyimot,(All the way from capital city of Abuja), Olori Falilat, Omowunmi Akintomide, and Omotola Obe aka Ebony  never experience any dull moment till when they got to the event place. And when it was time for entertainment, Toyin Jacobs the food affair minister makes sure everyone was satisfied to the brim

“It is my duty to make sure every member of buddies in fact every visitor here is well taken care, and as you know us we are the food affairs and with feedback I got we are able to achieve our aims” Toyin Jacobs, the CEO of Food Affairs proudly eulogized herself

For Alhaja Quoyimot Fashola, there is no regret coming all the way to Abuja to celebrate with the king

“Its always a fun to hang around with your secondary school mates whom you both grew up.. So, it is not always difficult for me to take any available flight to Lagos or wherever we have an important occasion to do. To me this is the best secondary school set I ever seen, the love and relationship that radiate among the group is beyond comprehension”

 

Even those who could not make it to the venue for one reason or the other were not happy missing out

The group secretary Oyinlola Anjou-Falade was absent due to the fact that her husband was celebrating his birthday, while other members have one tangible excuse for not be able to attend the august event

“I was bent on attending my first ever gathering with my co Buddies having discuss my intention to attend with HRM himself when we met weeks back in an event, but the traffic I ran to while coming form another event made me to miss out, really it was painful. And this is event that I have advertised in my Friday programme. Anyway, there are more events lining on ground to still be done among us” Soji Omotayo a popular media practitioners per excellence who has been in radio and television as a presenter for over two decades with also years of experience behind him as a prints journalist explained to whisperonlinemagazine on his absence
