Nothing could best described the glitz spice and glamour couple with paparazzi that enliven the atmosphere when the buddies of State High School Alinosho, ipaja road Lagos rekindle their old good days of secondary school  for three days of explosive celebration that started with the seven days fidau prayer on Friday 20th of May, 2022,  for the mother of one of their own, Toyin Bankole who lost her mother, Alhaja Airat Adetayo Bankole, the olori alasalatu of Mosan Central Mosque, Ipaja Lagos to the cold hands of death on the Friday 12th May, 2022 and was buried same day according to Muslim rite. To the nikai ceremony of  of Ganiyu Nasiru on Saturday Then the  climax celebration at the Ramosa Recreational Park in Olayemi area of Ayobo ipaja Lagos.

The Friday fidau prayer that kick start the three days explosive celebration of the buddies saw the likes of the buddies governor, Omotayo Agbogun  leading the other excos like Murphy Ajibade Alabi ( Asst General Secretary) Oyinlola Anjou ( General Secretary) Alhaja Omotunde Owode ( PRO) . And what a day it was to be as onitigbo of Tigbo  Oba Olabode Thomas land also arrived the venue with his full entourange, this sparkle up a the atmosphere as Kabiyesi arrival compliments the presence of other buddies like , prince Bayo Adeotan, Gabriel Ogbum, Abass Aruna , Muiz Akinola, Paul Itamoh ( The man mountain goal keeper of the buddies), Funsho Infinity (  YinkaAiyefele right hand man ). The ladies too were not in short figures. Omotola Obe aka Ebony, Alhaja Quimot flew all the way from Abuja, Olori Falilat , Ebun Adebayo Lucas, Debora Bamgboye, Dupe Ogunfunwa, Toyin Jacobs all add spice to the ceremony

And this must have inspire Folake Omotosho.who instantly invited the buddies to " impromptu " get together for Sunday right in her husband well structured and imposing Ramosa Recreational Park in Ayobo Lagos. And the park which is one of the handful of segregated Recreational areas in Lagos State was a perfect venue for pre get together party for the buddies.

Tayo Agbogun the governor stated thus " it's always a fun to be together with your childhood friends from secondary school. We are talking about 35 years ago. So it's God grace"

Folake Omotosho on her own couldn't hold back her joy

" It is a thing of joy . I was overwhelmed with what I saw on Friday during the fidau prayer of the mother of my friend Toyin. I was like waoh. It will be interesting to host the buddies in a very short notice before travelling back . So I approached the secretary General and her Assistant in the persons of Oyinlola Anjou and Murphy Ajibade Alabi and pronto it was sealed. I must confess it's one of the happiest day in my life seen my secondary school mates playing rands and throwing banters. Infact it was fun. And the DJ was perfect, given us old skools music. I am just too happy. Can't wait to host the guys again"

West Africa Beauty Festival Will Change The Face Of Makeup Business In Nigeria - Says Beauty Expert, Evangel Ohuda

Port Harcourt based beautician, Evangel Amogechukwu Ohuda has said, her forthcoming Beauty Festival will bring about a positive change in the makeup industry. Evangel said this while feeding questions from Daily Independent in Lagos, the Enugu State born while giving details of the event which is slated for September also revealed the ideal behind it.

"What I hope to achieve with this events is great connections, I hope to achieve connections not for myself alone, but for the thousands of participants, I hope to achieve business success not just for myself, but also for business owners who are going to showcase their businesses, because I see West Africa Beauty Festival as a platform that will promote everyone, irrespective of your field, even as a sponsor or partner. Trust me when I say, this event will shape the face of makeup business in Nigeria".

On the concept of the festival and funding, Evangel has this to say, "The idea behind the festival is to spread the narrative of African Beauty,  this is basically us celebrating our own beauty, the beauty of our profession, client and product, our brands in general. Well, personally as the visioner of the events, of course I have my own personal funds which have been set out for it, although, not very large. However, we are also looking out for some company to sponsor us too, we are still soliciting for support and sponsors too".

On how long she has been in the business of making people look good, Evangel who is also into hair production, said, although, beauty practice has always been a part of her family, she is inspired by veterans in the profession, "if I'm to calculate how long I've been in the beauty industry for 12 solid years. Right from when I was young, beauty has been a family business. I grew up in it, and then, I decided to make it

 Ramosa Recreational Park  located at Tella Igesu , Olayemi Olorunisola Road, Ipaja , Ayobo is one of a handful of segregated recreational areas in Lagos State. And those who have visited the state of art edifice can tell the story to those who are still searching for where to catch thier fun in Ayobo ipaja Lagos uddies that attended. 

And the brain behind it all , Akinyosoye Rasaq has stated unequivocally that it's a mission come through for him to have such a magnificent edifice erected in Ayobo ipaja Lagos

" When I started this lofty project over 15 years ago my mission and ambitious is to make it one of the best park in Lagos State. And three years after the opening I can tell you for free that we are getting to the dream of been one of the best in the state, despite the location. "

No doubt the park is a  place to be, going by state of art of modern equipment erected innyhr park . : Swimming pool suit, bar, sport activities centre and event centre

But it will interesting for people to know that like the popular saying that " Behind every successful man there's a woman" his wife Folake Omotosho- Akinyosoye is the brain behind the the Park 

" The secret is that I key in into the vision of my wife. It is my wife mission.  So when she told me days back that she will like to host her secondary School mate of over 35 years I was happy and oblige her.  And I was happy and excited and happy meeting some old guys "
